02.07.2015

On the 2nd of July in the evening, the first July convoy of the 22nd Humanitarian Aid Drive of Rinat Akhmetov arrived in Donetsk. 14 heavy-duty trucks delivered 280 tons of food products to the logistic centre at Donbas Arena that will be used to form 30,000 survival kits for adult civilians of non-government-controlled areas of Donbas.

"The convoy passed the customs inspection at the checkpoint near Volnovakha.  Tonight this convoy will be unloaded at Donbas Arena, and tomorrow morning the volunteers set to forming the survival kits", – Oleksandr Vyshniakov, the Head of Humanitarian Aid direction at Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, said.

The convoy passed the customs inspection and all checkpoints on the route with the full package of documents, proving the content of humanitarian load and the quality of products. You can see the documents of the Humanitarian Center's website: here.

In July Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is planning to increase the intensity of food deliveries to Donbas, and getting ready to send two Humanitarian Aid Drives that will deliver more than 4,900 tons of food products. This will allow delivering and forming 450,000 survival kits for adults and 39,000 children packages for civilians in ATO area, people living on the contact line and internally displaced people that are staying in towns of government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

It bears reminding that due to delays from the scheduled supplies in June, caused by the difficulties with the contact line crossing, the Humanitarian Center's warehouse in Donetsk has the stocks of survival kits for Donetsk issuing points only.
