Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center stopped issuing children packages in Donetsk

On the 9th of June Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center stopped issuing children packages at Donbas Arena stadium.

There no stocks of children packages at the Humanitarian Center's logistic warehouse. Due to closed checkpoints in "B" sector, since the 3rd of June Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center couldn't send 5 truck convoys to Donetsk that were supposed to deliver 10,000 children packages to be issued in non-government-controlled areas.

According to the Humanitarian Center, today there are 500,000 children in non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who experience food shortages and require humanitarian aid. 40,000 of these children are under two years old and they are provided with aid from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.

As of June 9, 2015, during the whole period of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center's operation they issued 234,729 children packages on both sides of the contact line.
