The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Donated 1,000 Food Packages to Fastiv and Bucha Districts
Despite the fact that the humanitarian situation in Kyiv region is still not a simple one, more and more people are returning to their homes. In particular, local residents are returning to Bucha district, which is among those areas that suffered the most from the atrocities and destruction caused by the invaders.
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation provided 150 food packages for residents of Berestianka village in Bucha district of Kyiv region. Another 850 assistance packages with some basic food items were delivered to Fastiv and nearby settlements.
The food packages include pasta, condensed milk, flour, sugar, wheat groats and canned stewed meat.
For now, more than 24,500 residents of Kyiv region have received the food assistance packages from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. The Foundation will provide its food packages to a total of 200,000 Ukrainians.
It is worth noting that since 24 February 2022, the humanitarian aid from Rinat Akhmetov has reached 2.5 million Ukrainians. More than 1 million of them have been covered with the humanitarian assistance from the Foundation, while the rest were provided with aid by SCM businesses.
The assistance is provided in the framework of the Program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its work, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive.
