“I liked it very much - it was cool!”: the spring session of Blogger Camp by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is over

03.06.2024

The spring session of Blogger Camp, organised by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for children affected by the war, has ended at a children's camp in the Zakarpattia region. Each session provides recreation, rehabilitation, psychological help, blogging skills, career guidance, and much more. For the second time, children who were returned after being illegally taken to russia took part in the camp.

“I dream about our victory, about the end of the war, so that I can meet my family, my relatives who are under occupation. I don't know what I want to be yet - I would like an interesting profession! My mother registered me for the camp. I wanted to go to change the environment - to meet new people, to experience new things... It's quiet here, very sunny. And I found friends,” says 13-year-old Polina from Kharkiv.

The girl emphasises the in-depth and professional approach of the Foundation's team and the camp to conducting classes, in particular, on mastering blogging skills.

“If we were just told how to use apps or take photos for an hour, it would be uninteresting. But here, almost the whole camp is involved in these processes! It's really cool, I liked it!” says Polina enthusiastically.

Registration for the next summer session, which will take place from the 12th to the 21st of July, is now open. You can register here

Children who lost their parents during the war, children from foster families and family-type orphanages, children of guardians and adoptive parents, children living in the area where active hostilities are taking place, children from the de-occupied territories and children affected by hostilities are invited to attend each camp session.

Rinat Akhmetov Foundation systematically helps young people choose their life path. In particular, it has held motivational meetings on the topic “Your Superpower!”, filmed the educational online series “Your Superprofession”, and has a telegram channel “Your Superpower”, which offers a lot of useful information on self-development, education, motivation and psychological support.

Over the past 18 years, more than 5 million Ukrainian children have received support under the Rinat Akhmetov to Children! programme. More: https://akhmetovfoundation.org/rinat-ahmetov-dityam
