For residents of non-government-controlled areas
Every day the hotline of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center gets calls about the Center's distribution of food packages in non-government-controlled areas. However, this information does not correspond to the reality. Since February 28, 2017, the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center has been unable to issue humanitarian aid in non-government-controlled areas. First the Center's operation was blocked, later it was prohibited. 500,000 people were left without assistance.
During the whole March and the first week of April the Humanitarian Center's hotline has been receiving calls from charity recipients living in non-government-controlled areas. The calls are coming from elderly people, young mothers and single parents. They call from Donetsk, Makiivka, Torez and other towns. People report that some volunteers from the Humanitarian Center come to their homes and make lists for receiving humanitarian aid. Rumour has it that in certain issuing points people keep receiving humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.
Dear residents of non-government-controlled areas! Please note that our issuing points are not working, food packages are not distributed now. We have no access to the premises and products. We don't know who is using them now and how. Our volunteers are not at the issuing points, they cannot call you on the phone or come to your home and promise food packages.
You can get reliable information about the Humanitarian Center's operation on the official website: akhmetovfoundation.org or via hotline: 0-800-509-001.
