The truck convoy with 30,000 food packages from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is already in Donetsk
The truck convoy with food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center arrived in Donetsk on November 23 in the evening. This is the 126th convoy that was sent to Donbas over the whole period of the Humanitarian Center's operation. The humanitarian aid is aimed for civilians living in non-government-controlled areas.
The convoy delivered 280 tons of food to Donetsk warehouse of the Humanitarian Center. Tomorrow the volunteers will set to unloading and formation of 30,000 survival kits for civilian adults.
During the daytime 14 trucks went through customs inspection at Novotroitske checkpoint with the full package of supporting documents confirming the cargo composition and product quality. You can see the documents for cargo here.
Due to the timely delivery of food to Donbas, the Humanitarian Center provides uninterrupted supply of survival kits to the fixed issuing points. Mobile teams of volunteers also continue delivering humanitarian aid to small villages of Donetsk region on both sides of the contact line. Over six months of "mobile" volunteers' operation more than 68,000 people were provided with food. You can see more details on the places of aid issuance here.
As of November 23, 2015, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued 5,432,000 survival kits for adult civilians and 395,000 children packages on both sides of the contact line.
