Avdiivka Coke and Rinat Akhmetov Foundation will help the victims of Avdiivka shelling
Shelling of Avdiivka took away the lives of civilians again. From the four casualties two people were employees of Avdiivka Coke.
On Saturday, May 13, four residents of Avdiivka were killed due to direct shell hit in residential building in the old part of town. Another man in serious condition was hospitalized in Dnipro. Among the victims are two employees of Avdiivka Coke: 51-year-old Oleh Borysenko and 34-year-old Mariia Dyka.
Due to the horrible tragedy two children became orphans. Grandmother took four-year-old Sasha to live with her. The custody of seven-year-old Zhenya is coordinated with the state services.
Rinat Akhmetov set a goal to the Humanitarian Center to aim all the required resources at helping civilians in the area of military actions. Maximum assistance will be provided to injured people, families of the killed and children who became orphans due to the tragedy.
The labour collective of the Avdiivka Coke mourns the loss and expresses condolences to the relatives and friends. The town-forming enterprise and Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will provide all the required assistance to the relatives of the killed employees and families who take custody over the orphaned children.
As a reminder, since the beginning of anti-terrorist operation in Donbas Avdiivka Coke lost 12 employees. Two of them were killed due to shell hits on the territory of the enterprise.
