#IbelieveIcan: Vladik Potin, 12 years old, mine-blast penetrating cranium-brain trauma

10.08.2017

Many people know the story of Vladik Potin, a boy from Avdeyevka, who was injured during the shelling in January 2015. The shell splinter passed through his head and got stuck in the back of the neck having injured 60% of the brain. Doctors believed that he stands almost no chance at life. However, the boy not only survived but also learned to talk and walk again.

Now Vladik is attending the second rehabilitation course from the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. The boy says: ‘I will overcome everything. I can do everything. And all will be well.’  We are sure that it will be so! Vladik will fully recover from injury, will be healthy and happy.

We invite wounded children from Donbass to participate in our flash mob and share their successes in rehabilitation. We also invite all indifferent adults who are ready to support the children and join the promotional action. Shoot your own videos and share them on social networks. Use hashtags #IbelieveIcan #TheRinatAkhmetovHumanitarianCenter to make your videos easy to find.
