I come from a miner's family so I know for certain that this profession requires fearlessness and dedication, strength of mind and endurance.

Being a miner means being ready for the dangerous and hard work.

Being a miner means being a faithful friend who always acts in a spirit of mutual support.

Each and every one of you is a hero who makes this world a better place by working valiantly day after day. Thank you very much for this!

The Miner's Day and Donetsk City Day are inseparable for our home region. The fate of my home city is forever tied to miners' hard work. A city that was built around the mines by the people who know the true value of hard work, Donetsk, I know, is the best city on earth. And I do believe that it will return to peaceful life, with roses blooming all around Donbas Arena again.
