Peaceful summer for Donbass children opens a new season

A new season of the «Peaceful summer for Donbas Children» project of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is starting. It was announced today at the briefing by Tatyana Kukhotskaya, director of the Communications Department of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.

«This project starts for the fourth year, and we continue to help children. The country cannot abandon them. It will be more difficult for them to cross the contact line, but we are open for help», - Kukhotskaya said.

The project, in which about 3,500 children have already participated, is aimed at enabling children from the front line to rest, feel safe and get psychological rehabilitation. The majority of its participants are children from large families, single-parent families, inmates of family-type orphanages. This is the only opportunity for hundreds of Donbas children to improve health and overcome the «trauma of war».
