Residents of Donetsk Region will Receive First Food Packages From the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation

The packages are intended for internally displaced persons from hotspots in the region, for evacuees from Volnovakha in the first place.

The packages include some essential food items, such as flour, pasta, sugar, stewed meat, pate and cookies.

Food assistance has been delivered to the warehouse in Pokrovsk. Local authorities of the relevant district will receive the necessary amount under the supervision of Donetsk Regional State Administration and will deliver the food assistance packages to the targeted IDPs according to the lists. Overall, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation provides 100,000 food assistance packages for residents of Eastern Ukraine. Another 100,000 survival packages from the Foundation are going to Kyiv and Kyiv region. The assistance is provided in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its operation, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive, three and a half million of them were saved in Donbass.
