Necessary medicines: Rinat Akhmetov Foundation donates another batch of medicines to Donetsk Oblast
Different patients come to medical institutions of Donetsk Oblast daily and they have different therapy needs and a wide range of medications. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has donated another batch of humanitarian aid to Donetsk Oblast to provide hospitals with required medicines.
The Foundation coordinated with Donetsk Regional State Administration to bring to the local hospitals more than 37,500 painkillers, anti-coagulating agents, antiseptics and drugs for treating cardiovascular diseases.
“All drugs will be used as intended across Donetsk Oblast where they are needed most. Some drugs will be used to meet the needs of the military, and some will be used to treat civilians,” said the director of one of the medical institution that received the assistance.
In total, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has sourced over 644,000 vital medicines and 60,000 blood collection bags for blood donors to public hospitals across different regions of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
