Since the Outbreak of the Full-Scale War, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Donated More Than Half a Million Food Packages for Residents of 22 Regions of Ukraine
Almost a year has passed since the time when life of every Ukrainian changed forever. Because of the russian full-scale invasion, hundreds of thousands of people were on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. During this time, the Foundation donated more than half a million packages with essential food items to residents of Ukraine.
From the first days of the war, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation focused on and directed all its efforts to helping those in need, systematically providing them with food assistance. This care and assistance were felt by residents of 22 regions of Ukraine, from the fortress city of Bakhmut to hospitable Lviv, which sheltered many IDPs, from the mutilated Hostomel, Bucha and Chernihiv to the de-occupied Izium, Lyman and Kherson.
Every day, volunteers of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation prepare thousands of food packages. For their part, the Foundation’s mobile delivery brigades, often despite the shelling and danger, deliver them to the hottest points in our country.
The assistance is provided in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives.
Since 2014, the assistance from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, SCM businesses and Shakhtar Football Club has reached more than 18 million people. A more detailed information is available at the link akhmetovfoundation.org/s/7aa3b2
