The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation delivered a ventilator to the Hospital of Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv
Hospital of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kyiv, Ukraine, received a modern ventilator from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
"At the beginning of June, 32 modern high-quality devices were delivered to Ukraine. This is the largest batch that has crossed the border of Ukraine since the quarantine began. All devices have already been transferred to support hospitals in Lviv, Ivno-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkiv Oblasts. And now the Foundation is happy to transfer a French-made ventilator to your hospital," Iryna Blazhan, director of projects and programs at the Foundation, said.
Jointly with the Ministry of Health, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation determined the needs for high-quality equipment in state medical institutions such as the Hospital of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Accepting the new, high-end equipment, Head of the Hospital, Natalya Okhrymenko, noted that the need for such devices is especially high now.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for giving such a necessary device to treat our patients. It helps to provide emergency medical care. Please accept my sincere gratitude. We are very pleased that you care. We deeply appreciate this," Natalya Okhrymenko said.
Roman Kartsev, Head of the Intensive Care Unit, simply and briefly explained why the ventilator is so relevant.
"There are no words to express our gratitude. This device is very necessary to save lives," he said.
