Psychological help, recreation and career guidance: Rinat Akhmetov Foundation's Blogger Camp for children and teenagers affected by war continues in Transcarpathia

27.05.2024

The Blogger Camp, an eventful spring session organised by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for children and teenagers affected by the hostilities in Ukraine, continues in a cosy children's camp in Transcarpathia.

Each Camp is an opportunity to improve health, relax, learn blogging skills and receive qualified psychological help to overcome the trauma of war. This is the second time that children who were illegally taken to Russia and managed to return to their homeland are taking part in the camp. The Foundation was the first to provide comprehensive assistance to these children who need special attention and support.

Blogger Camp is always fun and useful. In the first days of the spring shift, the young guests of the children's camp met the Foundation's team, received branded T-shirts and attended their first lessons with qualified psychologists. The children swam in the pool, exercised and played outdoors.

The children took part in team-building exercises - team building. The professional theme of the camp was not chosen by chance - Blogger Camp is focused on introducing children to the world of professions, master classes from representatives of interesting professional fields, useful exercises and new knowledge that will help them choose their dream job in the future.

As part of Rinat Akhmetov to Children! Peaceful Recreation for Children of Ukraine project, an interactive lecture-presentation of the practical poster guide “10 Steps to the Dream Profession”, developed by the Foundation's specialists specifically for teenagers, was held to help young people build their own algorithm for success.

The participants of the spring shift went on a hike in the picturesque Transcarpathian forest and then joined a fun disco. Every night before going to bed, Campers have a candlelight: a summary of the day in a cosy circle of friends with a lighted candle that they pass around.
The shift is ongoing - follow the updates at

Rinat Akhmetov Foundation regularly provides Ukrainian youth with the opportunity to take independent steps into the future: projects for children and teenagers provide knowledge and advice on motivating self-development, help them find their dream profession, develop self-confidence, etc.

Over 18 years, more than 5 million Ukrainian children have received support under  Rinat Akhmetov to Children programme.
