40,000 survival kits are delivered to the homes of elderly people by the Humanitarian Center's volunteers. How to file an application?

40,000 food packages were delivered to the homes of elderly and disabled people by volunteers of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. Address delivery of food packages in provided in 8 settlements: Donetsk, Makiivka, Khanzhonkove, Khartsyzk, Yenakiieve, Snizhne, Shakhtarsk and Torez.

There are thousands of lonely elderly and disabled people living on Donbas territory. Due to the health reasons they do not leave their homes and cannot come to the issuing point and pick up their packages. 

"Lonely elderly and disabled people are the most distressed category of our aid recipients. In order not to leave them unsupported, we deliver food to their homes for two years. Our volunteers manage to visit 20-25 addresses a day. Altogether there are six teams of volunteers working in Donetsk and the adjacent big towns. Their schedule of visits was made so that people didn't worry and received their packages on time", –  Natalia Baryshpolska, the Head of 'Humanitarian Aid' direction at Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, shares.         

Who can be provided with address delivery of food?

Address delivery of food packages can be provided to civilians that belong to the following benefit-entitled categories:

• lonely disabled people of the 1st and the 2nd categories, who cannot move on their own;
• lonely severely ill people, those who have undergone surgeries or suffer complex chronic diseases that are documented;
• lonely retired people older than 60, who cannot move on their own.

How to file an application for address food delivery?

The applications can be left via the Humanitarian Center's hotline: 0800 509 001. The application shall contain the following data:

• Full name;
• year of birth;
• privilege category (confirmed by documents);
• home address;
• contact phone number;
• passport series and number.

What documents shall be provided when receiving a package?

Food package is issued personally in hands to recipient upon availability of passport and original documents, proving the benefit-entitled category.

How often is address delivery provided?

Food package is delivered once in 5-6 weeks.
