The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation to Provide 100,000 Food Packages to Residents of Eastern Ukraine
In Zaporizhzhya, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has started to prepare 100,000 food assistance packages for residents of Eastern Ukraine. The first 3,000 packages will be sent to Pokrovsk and Dobropillya. In the first place, the assistance will go to people evacuated from Volnovakha. The packages will include some essential food products, such as flour, pasta, sugar, stewed meat, pate and cookies.
Another batch of 100,000 food packages is being formed in Kyiv now and once ready will be handed over to the residents of the city and the region.
The assistance is provided in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its operation, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive, three and a half million of them were saved in Donbass.
