WHO Can Get Insulin Free of Charge in the Region of Donetsk, WHERE and HOW?

Important Information on Receiving Insulin from the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Centre.

 

WHO?

 

All people suffering from diabetes mellitus types I and II registered in Regions of Donetsk and Lugansk. Insulin is provided to the patient for a month, on the basis of a daily dose multiplied by 31 days.

 

WHERE?

Insulin is given out in three pickup points within the Region of Donetsk:

 

City of Donetsk

City Hospital No. 3

Address: 16, Ovnatyana Street

 

City of Kramatorsk

City Hospital No. 2

14, Dnepropetrovskaya Street

 

City of Mariupol

City Hospital No. 4

4, Pashkovskogo Street

 

Working hours of all pickup points: Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. until 04:00 p.m.

 

HOW?

 

  • Call the hot line of the Humanitarian Centre (0800 509 001) and file a request for insulin. You will be contacted by a coordinator that will consult and direct you to the pickup point.
  • Immediately go to the pickup point with all the necessary documents and receive your monthly insulin dose.

 

Compulsory documents:

 

  • passport with registration in the Region of Donetsk or Lugansk
  • Individual Taxpayer Number

medical certificate/record/prescription stating the type of the insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, insulin name and dose
