Rinat Akhmetov’s Humanitarian Center increases the intensity of humanitarian aid delivery to Donbass 11.12.2014

Today the 12th Rinat Akhmetov’s Humanitarian haul is leaving Dnepropetrovsk for two destinations at a time – Donetsk and Mariupol. Within 8 days about 200 trucks will deliver 250 thousand food sets and 20 thousand baby sets to the civilians of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts.

“In order to fulfill the task, set by Rinat Akhmetov, the intensity of hauls with humanitarian aid is significantly increased. The task is to help the civilians of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts as much as possible. By the new year the number of delivered food and baby stuff sets will reach 2 million”, - Maksim Rovinskiy, the volunteer of Rinat Akhmetov’s Humanitarian Center, comments.

The humanitarian aid of total weight 3,700 tons – sugar, flour, cereals, corn, canned meat and fish, macaroni products, oat-flakes, condensed milk, biscuits etc. – will be delivered to the warehouses of “Donbass Arena” and Mariupol. In addition, infant formulas, cereals, vegetable and fruit puree, wheat farina, oat-flakes and diapers will be delivered for children under two years old. Upon delivery to the warehouses the cargo will be pre-packed and upon that it will be forwarded to cities and towns of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts.

As previously reported, since December the Center expands the range and quantity of products: the package weights 13 kg now instead of 10 and contains high calorie products.
