Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center does not intend to stop working in Donbas

18.05.2015

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center does not intend to stop delivering humanitarian aid for Donbas civilians. Due to information about closing a network of "Brusnichka" supermarkets (Ukrainian Retail Company) and a network of gas stations "Parallel" that belong to SCM Group of Companies, the Humanitarian Center's hotline receives numerous calls with questions about the future work of the Humanitarian Center in Donbas.

We officially inform you that Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues helping people, who need it the most. Only in May the Humanitarian Center is planning to deliver 350,000 food packages for adults and 42,000 children food baskets. The soonest convoy, consisting of 30 trucks, will start from Dnipropetrovsk for Donetsk on May 20.

According to the Humanitarian Map information, the acute demand for food products is felt by 45% of population, living in non-government-controlled areas.

The only source of subsistence for the hundreds of thousands people here is humanitarian aid, which is delivered to Donbas by Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center and international organizations: UNO, Red Cross, People in Need, etc.
