29.01.2018

On January 29, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center convoy arrived in Mariupol. 8 trucks have delivered 260 tons of humanitarian aid to the main distribution center. The volunteers started unloading products and forming survival kits for Donbas civilians.

“Since February 1, these product packages will be issued to the most vulnerable social groups in Donbas, including elderly and disabled people, children and single parents. For many locals it is the only way to avoid hunger,” Mykhailo Katerynchak, the Head of “Humanitarian Aid” direction of the Center, told. “The mobile teams will deliver the humanitarian aid to 45 settlements of the “grey zone”. People will also be able to get their survival kits in the fixed distribution centers, organized by The Humanitarian Center in the government-controlled territory”.

In total, 17,220 survival kits, formed from products purchased and produced in Ukraine, will be issued in February.

Over the time, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center has issued about 12 million of food packages on both sides of the demarcation line.
