25,000 survival kits from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are delivered at Donbas Arena

On August 12, in the evening, the fifth convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center arrived in Donetsk, delivering food for Donbas civilians that are staying in non-government-controlled areas.

17 trucks delivered 340 tons of food to the Humanitarian Center's logistic warehouse in Donbas Arena. Soon the volunteers of Shakhtar Football Club will unload the food products and sticker each of them with "Humanitarian aid. Not for sale" sign. Based on results of deliveries they will form 25,000 adult survival kits aimed for benefit-entitled categories of civilians: elderly and disabled people, families with many children and foster families, etc.  

The trucks passed all the checkpoints on their way and the customs inspection with the full package of documents, legalized in compliance with all norms and procedures according to the current legislation of Ukraine, and confirming the cargo content and the quality of products. Also there was the order of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on recognition of this cargo as humanitarian. You can see the documents for cargo here

The Humanitarian Center continues delivering humanitarian aid to Donbas. During the period from the 9th till the 16th of August the Center will send six truck convoys to Donetsk logistic warehouse. They will deliver 1,700 tons of food products that will be used to form 162,000 survival kits: 130,000 for adults and 32,000 for children. 

 It is planned to send two humanitarian aid drives to Donbas till the end of August, and based on results of deliveries to the logistic centres of Donetsk and Mariupol, it is planned to form 420,000 adult survival kits and 39,000 children packages, all aimed for Donbas civilians on both sides of the contact line.

Today, on August 12, 2015, the Humanitarian Center issued the four-millionth survival kit. During the year of Humanitarian Center's operation their aid was provided to residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and internally displaced persons.
